Colours of August

We have had an amazing amount of water fall to the earth this month. Everything is soggy and quite luscious. And the farmers are rejoicing.

There is water in our water holes and the water birds can be seen in great numbers.

kangaroos

A walk through the green paddocks and the kangaroos are not that sure they want to share.

Plenty of this going on.

But also a sign that spring is on it’s way.

Oh, my goodness - it certainly has been wet there!! And I don't think I've ever seen more than one kangaroo at a time - that is a cool picture! Thanks for sharing your part of the world with us - hope spring comes quickly for you. T.

That's a lot of water! We could also take that kind of picture here and there, though.
But so many kangeroos - no. I loved the picture!

Totally love the kangaroo photo!!

Sorry you're having so much rain. Our spring this year was very rainy to start, but that lead into a warm and gorgeous summer. Maybe your weather will follow suit.

As always, your photos are lovely, even when they're of mud puddles.

Thanks for sharing your colors of August!!

I love the kangaroos, too!

I have been teaching my kids about the opposite seasons in the northern/southern hemispheres...your post fit right in with that and they loved seeing it firsthand. Thanks!
